3D Animation/ Design
I have been very interested in the 3D workspace and how I can use this in my visual development work. Because of this I have been exploring with modelling and creating environments in the 3D software Blender.
Besides modeling objects I have lately been very interested in creating environments in a 3D space and have been wanting to explore that more.
The tiny spaceship models are not mine.
Created by following a Youtube tutorial by Blender made easy
This skateboard was my introduction to hard surface modeling.
Besides modelling I have also experimented with effects. Such as inflating things and how to simulate an explosion in blender.
To experiment with modeling objects I decided to create a bedroom. When starting on this I learned a lot of shortcuts regarding modeling that helped me learn how to make the process quicker.
After creating the bedroom I decided I wanted to model another space to put the things I learned to practice. I decided to make a kitchen and learned better ways to light my models and make the renders look better.
I have experimented with effects before and this was my first time trying out cloth in 3D. I wanted it to look realistic and showcase some movement to see how the cloth would move with it.
After modeling this cupcake I experimented with 2D textures and how to combine that with a 3d model. This new technique is something that I find very exciting and want to explore more These textures were drawn in Procreate but this could also be done in Photoshop.
Here, I modeled a sci-fi-like hallway. I tried to showcase what lights and volumetrics can do to create an atmosphere in the render.
