NN North sea Jazz
Poster
I participated in a North Sea Jazz poster competition. I got into the top 20 posters. In this poster, I wanted to capture what Jazz to felt and sounded like. This was my first experience with creating a poster and I enjoyed this. I would love to try this out again another time.
I explored ideas by listening to Jazz music and try to come up with ideas on how to visualise the sound.
This was also my first time exploring typography. Which was fun. I have been able to try out more rough and cut-out letters or some letters that looked a little bit smoother. Having these different iterations made me realize I needed something that was a mix of these elements to showcase that like jazz music it keeps changing.
